Filing a claim is a breeze

Submitted claims are processed as quickly as possible. Along the way, we’ll let you know if any more evidence is required to get your claim processed.

Step 1

Start a claim using Starr's eClaims service. Make sure you submit a claim within 30* days of an incident happening (even if that means you’re still on your trip).

An acknowledgement email will be sent upon receipt of claim submission.

Step 3

Starr’s claims department will process the claim upon receipt of all documents. They’ll let you know if any more evidence is required.

The maximum coverage period of a trip is 180 consecutive calendar days for a single trip travel insurance plan.

Bubblegum Travel Insurance is for all ages. You must be 18 years old and above to apply for/purchase a travel insurance policy and may purchase a policy for a minor online.

Yes, parents or guardians can apply for Bubblegum Travel Insurance for children who are travelling alone.

In the event the trip has to be extended due to unforeseen circumstances, the travel insurance coverage shall be automatically extended until the Insured person’s return to Singapore, subject to a maximum of seven (7) days at no additional premium.

As Bubblegum currently only offers a single-trip travel insurance policy (defined as a short-term policy covering a specific trip, usually commencing from and returning to Singapore), no changes, cancellations, or refunds shall be made once the premium is paid.
