The Insured person does not need to pay for the co-payment or deductible.

The maximum coverage period of a trip is 180 consecutive calendar days for a single trip travel insurance plan.

Bubblegum Travel Insurance is for all ages. You must be 18 years old and above to apply for/purchase a travel insurance policy and may purchase a policy for a minor online.

Yes, parents or guardians can apply for Bubblegum Travel Insurance for children who are travelling alone.

In the event the trip has to be extended due to unforeseen circumstances, the travel insurance coverage shall be automatically extended until the Insured person’s return to Singapore, subject to a maximum of seven (7) days at no additional premium.

As Bubblegum currently only offers a single-trip travel insurance policy (defined as a short-term policy covering a specific trip, usually commencing from and returning to Singapore), no changes, cancellations, or refunds shall be made once the premium is paid.    

If any loss, damage or legal liability covered under this Policy is also covered by any other insurance, we shall not be liable under this Policy except for any excess beyond the amount payable under such other insurance, provided that the benefit of Accidental Death and Disablement, Overseas Hospital Cash and Travel Delay shall not be limited by the foregoing limitation. (This applies to the case whereby insured hold both a travel insurance and a personal accident policy.) The Insured can claim Accidental Death and Disablement coverage for both travel and personal accident policies.

Any indemnity related to accidental death shall be payable to the Insured person’s estate. All other indemnities shall be payable to the Insured person.

No, any travel insurance purchased after you have commenced your journey and departed Singapore is considered invalid. Please purchase the insurance before you proceed beyond the Singapore immigration counters. The policy effective date must be the same as or before the insured person’s departure date from Singapore.

Southeast Asia includes Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Indonesia Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.  
Asia Pacific includes all ASEAN countries as well as Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China (excluding Tibet), Fiji, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Japan, N. Korea, S. Korea, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Macau, Maldives, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, E. Timor, and Taiwan, as well as other Pacific nations.  
Worldwide : All destinations worldwide.

Our travel insurance provides international coverage for amateur hazardous sports such as hot air ballooning, scuba diving, sky diving, skiing and other extreme sports with no restriction on height or depth.  
Exclusion on amateur hazardous sports:  
Riding or driving in any kind of motor racing, competition, engaging in a professional capacity in any sport where an Insured person would or could earn income or remuneration from engaging in such sport as a source of income.

No, this policy does not cover any loss, injury, damage or liability suffered and/or sustained by or arising directly or indirectly as a result of or in connection with riding or driving in any kind of motor racing, competition, engaging in a professional capacity in any sport where an Insured person would or could earn income or remuneration from engaging in such sport as a source of income, such as participation in Marathon events.

Yes, Bubblegum's Travel Insurance Policy is applicable to leisure and business travel. With regard to business travel, this Policy shall only apply to a Trip undertaken for the purpose of carrying out professional, managerial, clerical and/or administrative tasks.

For pregnant women, please take note that this travel insurance policy does not cover loss, Injury, damage or liability suffered and/or sustained by or arising directly or indirectly as a result of or in connection with pregnancy, miscarriage or childbirth; or any injury or sickness associated with pregnancy, miscarriage or childbirth.

"Common Carrier" means any mechanically propelled conveyance operated by a company or an individual licensed to carry passengers for hire.  
"Common Carrier Operator" means a company or an individual that operates a Common Carrier and is licensed to carry passengers for hire.  
This terminology is used because we cover cruises and other transportation methods
